Very deep intense purple colour. Spicy, cedary, baked plum-cherry nose. Fairly dry, medium bodied, spicy, juicy, intense, baked cherry flavours with a cedary, somewhat herbal, very faintly bitter, mocha-chocolate-tinged finish. Has 14.5% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar. Better than the 2011 (*+) released on June 11, 2016 at $19.95. |
