Extremely deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, ripe plum-cherry puree nose with some cedar-sandalwood notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, slightly spicy, harmonious, ripe plum-cherry puree flavours with a lingering, gently cedary finish. Showing nicely. Has 14% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with a new lot number L11/266/13 on the lower part of the glass bottle. TONY ASPLER / 90-points / BEST BUY - Cedary, toasty, blackcurrant nose; medium-bodied, dry, lovely mouth-feel, cherry and plum flavours with ripe tannins. Well-balanced and ready for drinking. A third REPEAT of the recommended best buy 2009 (**/**+) with 88-points last released on August 8, 2015 at $19.95 with lot number L09-48/11. |
