Deep intense purple colour. Cedary, spicy, baked ripe plum-cherry nose. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, harmonious, spicy, fairly juicy, plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, crisp, sandalwood-tinged, fairly cedary mocha-chcoolate-tinged finish. Quite ready to drink. Has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with a screwcap closure. TONY ASPLER / 88-points - Cedary, spicy,blackberry nose; medium to full-bodied, dry, spicy plum flavour with lively acidity and a vanilla oak finish, The 2009 (**/**+) was released on April 28, 2012 at $19.95. |
