Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, slightly spicy, faintly herbal, cassis-plum-cherry nose with lots of sandalwood-cedar notes. Very dry, medium bodied, fairly extracty, youthful, plum-cherry-cassis flavours with some herbal-cedary notes on the lingering high acid finish. Has 14% alcohol and 6 g/L residual sugar with lot number LM17061 on the back label. TONY ASPLER / 88.5-points / BUY - Cedary, plum and blackcurrant with a tobacco note; medium to full-bodied, dry, well extracted and fruity on the palate with lively acidity and ripe tannins.
