Fairly deep purple red colour. Spicy, peppery, persimmon-tinged, dried plum-cherry-apple nose with lots of mineral notes and a touch of cedar. Very dry, medium-light bodied, spicy, baked plum-apple-cherry flavours with a very crisp, high acid, somewhat peppery, sappy, sandalwood-tinged finish. Has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with 293 cases being produced. |
