TASTING NOTE: Lastly, and one of the gems in the lineup, the 2013 Minervois Condamine Paulignan checks in as a blend of Syrah, Grenache, Carignan and Cinsault that raised all in concrete tanks. Fabulously textured, medium to full- bodied, layered and seamless, this beauty offers up a rock star bouquet of black cherries, incense, lavender and hints of olive. Drink this complex, balanced and elegant effort anytime over the coming 5-7 years. Drink Date: 2016-2023. Score - 92 (Jeb Dunnuck, robertparker.com, April 27, 2016) |
