A Vintage Assessments Explorer's Selection! |
Primitivo from Puglia is becoming increasingly popular as wine lovers become more familiar with the evocative and sensual wines being crafted here. This hand-harvested example was aged in French and American oak. You can expect a layered and complex wine with prominent blackberry, violets, smoke and anise notes with spicy undertones and plush tannins. This will be a fine match for grilled steaks or smoked ribs. |
