TASTING NOTE: The 2014 Chianti is a gorgeous wine. Bright, pure and focused, the Chianti is once again and overachiever in both its class and price range. Sweet red cherry, rose petals and spices are pushed forward. The 2014 offers lovely density, especially for the vintage. Mori gave the 2014 eighteen months in cask. Drinking window: 2016-2024. Score - 92 (Antonio Galloni, vinous.com, Oct. 2016) |
