TASTING NOTE: Gamay Noir is a darling among wine geeks everywhere these days, yet it grows almost nowhere besides Canada and its home region of Beaujolais in France. This wine is crisp and mineral with notions of raspberry, sour cherry, black pepper and fresh flowers. Sip with duck breast or cold ham sandwiches. (Vintages panel, Sept. 2016) |
