| Deep intense purple colour. Intense, slightly spicy, gently herbal, youthful, ripe plum-cherry puree nose. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, dense, fairly juicy, intense, ripe plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, gently cedary, still somewhat firm, crisp, high acid finish. Screwcap closure. Has 14% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. The recommended best buy 2013 (**+) with higher alcohol (14.5%) and sugar (7 g/L residual sugar) was released on May 28, 2016 at $24.95. |
