TASTING NOTE: Famous for the great red wines it produces, Rioja is also home to distinctive white wines such as this one. Crafted from Viura and Malvasía grown at altitude, this offers impressions of honey, melon, pear, white pepper and sweet tropical fruit - most notably, banana. Fresh and well balanced with a creamy texture, this is perfect with grilled shrimp. (Vintages panel, August 2016) |
