Very bright light pink colour. Fresh, vibrant, wild strawberry nose with some mineral-tinged hints of violets. Dry, medium-light bodied, fairly spicy, somewhat tangy, fresh raspberry-strawberry flavours with a lingering, very crisp finish. Perfect for a Mother's Day brunch, especially with salmon. It has 13.5% alcohol and only 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L1011405-7030X on the capsule and a screwcap closure. This fine dry Rhone rose has a $2 LTO reducing the price from $14.15 to $12.15 until Sunday May 21st. This newly released 2016 is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault and is now known simply as Ventoux Rose (no longer \"Cotes du Ventoux\". The Ogier family began producing Rhone wines in 1859.
