TASTING NOTE: Great vintages lift all boats?in the right hands, even the most humble wines get a boost. The 2013 vintage was strong across California, delivering ripe, complex tannins for reds, and Joel Peterson's petite sirah is in fine form, bold but not hot or leathery, lasting on a chewy fruit-skin texture that releases scents of cassis and peppercorn spice in the finish. Keep this on hand for pan-seared steak. Highly Recommended. Score - 88 (wineandspiritsmagazine.com, Feb. 2016) Price $ 18.95
