A Best Buy
Though not believed to be native to Rueda, it is here that the grape has truly flourished. It is grown virtually nowhere else in Europe let alone Spain, and is grown in only a few places in Australia and California. In Rueda it is often blended with Sauvignon Blanc or Viura. TASTING NOTE: Crisp, light, zesty and dry with notes of lime, green apple, banana, pineapple, leek and spring pea.
