TASTING NOTE: As I've seen in many of the 2013 wines produced by winemaker Ignacio Recabarren, there is a big jump in freshness in the 2013 Terrunyo Cabernet Sauvignon, which shows elegant, balanced and layered aromas of black raspberries, tobacco leaf, cracked pepper, hints of spices, smoke and aromatic herbs. The palate is medium to full-bodied with very good acidity and freshness, with very fine and elegant tannins. This is superb Cabernet Sauvignon. Score - 92 (Luis Gutierrez, robertparker.com, Dec. 2015) |
