TASTING NOTE: From two vineyards: mainly Williams, with less from another on VA Lane, the Williams grapes barrelfermented with wild and cultured yeasts, barrels stored at 2 C to extend fermentation time, then 6 months lees contact; VA Lane tank-fermented and matured. It's all been worthwhile, because this wine is far more complex than most Coonawarra chardonnays, with quite intense cool-grown fruit flavours, and considerable length. Drink By: 2020. Special Value. Score - 94 (James Halliday, winecompanion.com.au, July 27, 2015) Price $ 19.95
