A Best Buy
A winery-only selection, not currently avaiable at the LCBO. This was a great vintage for winemaker Bruce Nicholson. The grapes were hand selected from our Montague Vineyard in the Four Mile Creek sub-appellation of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Gently pressed and de-stemmed, the juice was allowed to cold settle for 48 hours before racking. It then went into new French oak where fermentation took place at a cool 16 C for 14 days. After 3 months, the finished wine was racked from the oak into a stainless steel tank and then bottled. Price $ 19.95
