Bight medium straw colour. Intense, spicy, gently honeyed, wildflower-lilac-tinged nose with some fresh citrusy, melon-apple puree notes. Dry, medium-light bodied, bright, harmonious, gently spicy, floral, honeyed, fresh, ripe, melon-apple-lemon flavours with a lingering, crisp, unoaked, citrusy finish. This classic Greek white is refreshing, versatile and ready-to-drink. TONY ASPLER / 89-points / BEST BUY - Light straw; fragrant, orange blossom and musk melon bouquet; medium-light bodied, dry, green melon flavour with tangy, lemony acidity giving the wine a long, lingering finish. STYLE - Light & Crisp - Boutari Moschofilero (moh-skoh-FEE-leh-roh) is a clear, pale straw colour; floral, apple and melon aromas with citrus note; dry, light bodied; ripe melon flavour balanced with grapefruit/lemon acidity for a fresh finish. Mantinia is found in the center of the Peloponnese, the southern peninsula of Greece. Serving Suggestion: serve with calamari or grilled shrimps. |
