Winemaker Bob Balentine and his wife Daphne launched Line Shack in 2004, and named their new winery after a rundown cabin (line shack) on their property that was once used by cowboys as shelter from inclement weather when out on the range. They source their grapes primarily from the San Antonio Valley AVA, which is perfectly suited for ripening Cabernet. This will be a great choice for grilled steaks or meaty winter stews. Incidentally, here's a fun fact to share with guests: The renovated shack is now their tasting room. Price $ 21.95
