Bright medium straw colour. Slightly spicy, bright, ripe pear-driven, lemon-melon-apple nose with some fairly complex, faint cedar notes. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, harmonious, ripe pear-lemon-apple-melon flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid finish. This remarkable Macon-Village is made exclusively from old Chardonnay vines (average age of 55 years) and has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L171041 on the back label.
