TASTING NOTE: Henry of Pelham 2018 (200 ml) Vidal and Cabernet Franc Ice wine is dessert in a glass. Look for ripe and lush cherry, raspberry, cake spice and tangerine flavours on the palate. Serve chilled on its own or with a raspberry chocolate cheesecake. Grapes are harvested by hand while frozen in estate vineyards and the precious wine juice is forged in stainless steel tanks. Henry of Pelham is nestled in the Short Hills Bench appellation and is a family-run business of the Speck family. Drink: 2022-2026. Score - 92 (nataliemaclean.com, Oct. 22, 2022) |
