| Deep yellow golden colour. Complex, sweet, caramelized, ripe baked apple nose with some tropical fruit cocktail notes. Creamy, sweet, honeyed, spicy, well balanced, fairly rich, ripe lemon, warm baked apple flavours. Well structured and harmonious. The equivalent 750 ml price is $93.56. The 2000 vintage which was released on July 10, 2004 at $39.95 (375 ml) is also excellent and even a bit cheaper (the equivalent 750 ml price is $79.70). |
