Tasting note: Silver medal at Canadian Wine Awards 2002. This whopper icewine shows very ripe pineapple-peachy fruit with some vinyl and minty character on the nose, plus creme brulee. The real story is the vibrant, intense taste with excellent to outstanding length of finish. Very sweet. Score – 90. (www.wineaccess.ca, Nov. 2002) Food match: crème brûlée. |
