TASTING NOTE: The Icewine dosage is noticeable right off the bat thanks to a honeyed quality on the nose. The palate offers up a nice mix of autolytic nuance underlying the apple, peach and apricot notes. A grapefruit citrus element emerges on the close. Rich, fresh and quite refined, with pointed, sharp acidity that balances the sweetness very nicely. A fun option for spicy seafood appetizers. (Vintages panel, Aug. 2019) |
