| This is one of 73 items (130 releases) not presented for evaluation under new LCBO policies. I purchased a bottle for assessment from the Vintages. Here is my review: Bright medium straw colour. Attractive, sweet, honeyed, gently tropical, mango-peach nose with some lemon-tinged, Seville orange marmalade notes. Sweet, medium bodied, harmonious, intense, fairly rich, very bright, ripe peach-mango-apple purée flavours with lingering, tropical-tinged, honeyed-caramel finish that shows fine fresh acidity. This new 2017 award winner has 11% alcohol and 199 g/L residual sugar. The recommended 2014 (***) with 92-points was released on June 23, 2018 at $34.95. |
