| Fairly deep intense golden yellow colour. Sweet, spicy, dried ripe apple aromatics with some hints of vinyl-shower curtain. Very sweet, fairly well structured, medium bodied, honeyed, spicy, baked apple flavours with a somewhat tropical, caramel finish. Has 12.6% alcohol and 165 g/L residual sugar. |

| TASTING NOTE: Strewn are among the best when it comes to Icewine, and this 2013 Vidal is another winner. It is bursting with apricot and tropical cantaloupe notes with a nice honey tone. Bright acidity keeps the sweetness in check and keeps it from coming across as cloying. Enjoy with fruit-based desserts or as a contrast to a selection of blue cheeses. (VINTAGES panel, April 2016) |
