| Not presented at the press and/or consultants preview in the LCBO lab. A repeat of the recommended best buy 2013 (***) released on February 6, 2016 at $29.95. Here is the note: Bright medium-deep cherry colour. Very attractive, sweet, spicy, fresh warm cherry pie nose with some pie crust and strawberry notes. Sweet, medium to medium-light bodied, bright fresh strawberry pie flavours with some French vanilla ice cream notes on the lingering, crisp finish. Has 11% alcohol and now 201 g/L residual sugar. Tony Aspler: 92+ - Best Buy - Light ruby colour; a nose of honey and strawberries; sweet strawberry jam flavour but well balanced with acidity. |
