Intense, very sweet, medium to medium-full bodied, viscous, harmonious, mouthfilling, honeyed, spicy, melon-apricot-apple puree flavours with a lifted, candy apple, Seville orange marmalade tinged finish. Has 10% alcohol and 247 g/L residual sugar. Not quite up to the recommended best buy 2012 (***) released on November 22, 2014 at $24.95. |

| TASTING NOTE: Ontario's emergence as a serious wine region was heralded by Vidal Icewine, and Reif has been adding additional emphasis to this story since 1984. Their 2013 offers a delightful catalogue of evocative aromas and flavours including caramel, honey, cantaloupe, marmalade, peach, gingerbread, and apricot preserves.
