| Medium light red colour. Attractive, intense, strawberry jam nose. Very sweet, medium bodied, honeyed, spicy, intense, ripe strawberry-plum-cherry puree flavours with a lingering, slightly caramel-tinged finish. Very tasty albeit not inexpensive. Has 11% alcohol and 204 g/L residual sugar. Despite what it says on the label, this is not made at Celion Dion Cellars (there is no such place) but rather by Niagara Cellars Ltd. aka Diamond Estates Wines. |
