| NOW $21.75 (as of December 22 delisting). This was originally priced at $45.95, which I believe should have been for a 700 ml bottle (not the 375 ml which was sent to the LCBO). All Vieni graspas sell in the $40-50 range. Clear colourless. Attractive, floral, intense, rather spicy, hay-tinged nose. Intense, fairly dry, spicy, well structured, floral, hay-tinged flavours with a lingering crisp finish. A very tasty grappa indeed! Here is what the producers have to say about their spirits: Graspa is one of the original names given to spirits distilled from fermented pomace, left after the pressing of grapes during the wine making process. Today only Italian producers can use the name “Grappa”. |
