From the great 2007 vintage, comes this Jackson Triggs Icewine made with Cabernet Franc. In a near-perfect vintage such as ’07, getting fruit fully ripe before the autumn and frost hits is ideal; the resulting wine, when finally harvested in the depths of winter, gave juice that was more impactful and balanced than one would see from a cool and wet year. Look for strawberry-rhubarb, dried cherry, candied orange peel, honey and guava aromas and flavours. Enjoy with aged cheeses or cheesecake. |
