(Not presented at the press preview in the LCBO lab. A repeat of the recommended 2007 (**+) released on December 11, 2010 at $29.95. Here is my note: Medium-light yellow colour. Intense, sweet, spicy, honeyed, ripe apricot-apple purée nose. Very sweet, medium bodied, slightly spicy, ripe, apple-apricot purée flavours with a lingering, honeyed, still fairly crisp, vanilla-tinged finish.) |

TASTING NOTE: This shows a very typical if slightly coarse nose of peach, caramel and lemon tea, with the touch of vinyl common to the genre. It’s full bodied, very sweet and quite elegant with fine lemon-orange acidity. Very good to excellent length. Score: 89 (David Lawrason, winealign.com, Nov. 2009) |
