| Forty-nine volunteers, including winemaker Shiraz Mottiar, braved the freezing cold to pick the grapes for this wine. Their names are listed in tribute on the back label. Nice touch we thought. This red Icewine is remarkably fresh with all that lovely sweet fruit balanced out by crisp acidity. Look for dark chocolate, cassis and even a hint of fresh herbs. Calls for some mature cheeses or a chocolate mousse. |
