Vibrant day glo deep intense golden yellow colour. Sweet, spicy, dried ripe apple nose. Very sweet, fairly well structured, medium bodied, honeyed, baked apple flavours with some disconcerting vinyl notes on the caramel finish. Seems a bit low in acidity. Tasted once. The recommended 2002 (**) was released on February 2, 2008 at $24.75. |

TASTING NOTE: Deep yellow-gold in colour, this wine's intensely fruity nose reveals layers of mango, dried apricots, mandarin oranges, honey and candy apples. Sweet, with ample acidity providing balance. The aromas replay on the palate with notes of sweet baking spices on the long finish. Delectable on its own, with a fruit flan, or as a contrast to a selection of blue cheeses. (Vintages panel, Dec. 2009) |
