| Alas, the single bottle half-bottle presented in the lab was empty. Here is Julian Hitner’s note: Starbright, light yellow-lime colour. Intense candle wax at the outset, with enticing scents of dried nuts, orange and apricot peel, light lemon, and spice. Clean, with light, pleasant fruit, balanced acidity, and a hint of dried sweet pistachios on the finish. Decent, balanced icewine, though fairly simplistic (and a little dry) if you ask me. Tolerably priced. |
