RIESLING ICEWINE 2004 VQA Niagara Peninsula |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
Willow Heights |
Pale yellow colour. Sweet, spicy baked apple nose smells great. Spicy, sweet, spritzy, apple pie flavours. Both lab samples were just a tad cloudy and appear to be undergoing some secondary fermentation in the bottle resulting in effervescence. |

Ultra supple, this Icewine massages the palate with ripe exotic flavours. With lovely aromas of dried apricot, peach and honey, coupled with lively acidity on the palate, the wine follows with a long lingering finish. The quality of this wine has been confirmed by numerous accolades from national and international competitions. (www.willowheightswinery.com) |
