VIDAL ICEWINE 2002 VQA Niagara Peninsula |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
Cilento |
Deep amber colour. Very slightly cheesy, sweet and sour, cooked apple nose. Sweet, stewed apple-apricot jam flavours with a viscous, cheese tinged finish. Cheap but not so cheerful. Tasted once. |

Tasting note: Deep amber in colour, with yummy aromas of burnt caramel, apple and honeycomb. Flavours of crème caramel, cloved orange, peach and lemon/lime stand out in this very well balanced sweet tart. (Vintages panel, Sept. 2005) |
