A Recommended/Best just delisted red from Washington State is BADGER MOUNTAIN VINTNER'S ESTATE SYRAH 2008 VINTAGES 209882 |now only $16.15 (Release Date was January 8 at $18.95) now $15.40. It scored **/**+ (out of ***) and was recommended/best buy! My tasting note reads: Extremely deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, baked plum and ripe cherry nose. Dry, medium bodied, harmonious, slightly spicy, ripe, blueberry-plummy-cherry flavours with a lingering, sandalwood, finish. This organic wine contains 6 mg/l of free sulphur.
